ANSR: FAQ’s

Are ANSR: light therapy devices safe?
Yes. ANSR: light devices utilize effective LED (light-emitting diode) photolight. Although the light is intensely bright, it is neither a laser nor UV light, so it won’t burn your skin or eyes. As with any bright light source, staring into the LED lights for any length of time is not recommended.

How often should I use my ANSR: light therapy device?
We recommend two treatments per day for best results. NOTE: For users with blemishes a temporary breakout may occur as your skin is going through a purging process. This commonly happens within 14 days of beginning light therapy use and is a sign that your skin is responding to the treatment.

Are ANSR: light therapy devices for all skin types?
Yes! ANSR: light devices can be used on all skin types – dry, oily, blemish prone – and help to tone and even out your complexion to create a healthy glow.

Can I use my ANSR: light therapy device on areas other than my face?
Absolutely! In addition to the face, ANSR: light therapy can help to improve the appearance of skin tone, texture, and fine lines on the rest of your body. Popular areas include the neck, shoulders, back, and hands.

When can I expect to see results from my ANSR: light therapy device?

Can ANSR: light therapy devices be incorporated into spa treatments and other professional facial services?
Yes. ANSR: light therapy devices can be easily incorporated into many treatments including anti-aging and blemish control facials, as well as facial waxing.

What is the difference between clinical lasers used in medical clinics and ANSR: light therapy devices?
Clinical laser treatments utilize high-power lasers that may be overly aggressive, often creating redness and discomfort.
ANSR: light therapy devices use high intensity LED (light emitting diode) photo lights that are safe for in-home use.

I experienced temporary redness after my first treatment with my ANSR: light device. What is causing this?
Redness of the skin – or erythema – may occur temporarily due to increased circulation or mild blood flow to the treated areas.

As with any treatment while pregnant or nursing, we recommend consulting your health care provider before beginning any light therapy treatment.
